Tom and Jerry in the Wacky World of Mother Goose is an upcoming 2019 remake of the 1967 Rankin/Bass film based on The Tales of Mother Goose by Charles Perrault and the original nursery rhymes.

Plot[]
Mother Goose has gone to visit her sister on the far side of the moon while Count Walktwist the Crooked Man plans to take over the kingdom. Tom, Jerry, and the other nursery rhyme characters have to stop Walktwist and save their homes.
Characters[]
- Tom: A blue-grey cat. Gruff and short-tempered but well-meaning. In the end, he and Jerry are knighted by Old King Cole.
- Jerry: A brown mouse. Clever, plucky, cheeky and kind. In the end, he and Tom are knighted by Old King Cole.
- Tuffy: A young grey, diaper-wearing mouse, Jerry's ward. In this movie, he is Mother Goose's partner.
- Droopy: A droopy but noble dog. In this movie, he is Old King Cole's footman.
- Butch: Droopy Dog's co-star. In this movie, he is Old King Cole's advisor.
- Red: A sultry, voluptuous, attractive and beautiful young woman and lounge singer. In this movie, she is Old King Cole's lady-in-waiting.
- Spike: Gruff but just bulldog. In this movie, he and his son, Tyke serve Count Walktwist. But once the Crooked Man has gone too far, they turn against him. In the end, he and his son become part of Old King Cole's army.
- Tyke: Spike's son. In this movie, he and his father, Spike serve Count Walktwist. But once the Crooked Man has gone too far, they turn against him. In the end, he and his father become part of Old King Cole's army.
- Tin, Pan, and Alley: Three sly Siamese cats. In this movie, they serve Count Walktwist.
- Mother Goose: The woman who rides a giant goose, is the narrator, and adored by everyone in the land. She always takes Tuffy with her wherever she goes and hates having to leave. She leaves to take care of her sister who has a cold. Once her sister feels better, Mother Goose returns home to help stop Count Walktwist.
- Bedelia: Mother Goose's pet goose who gives her mistress rides on her back and lives on candy canes.
- Mother Goose's sister: A woman who lives on the dark side of the moon. She catches a cold and Mother Goose has to take care of her.
- Count Walktwist: Also known as the Crooked Man, the villain who wants to rule the land for no reason.
- Old King Cole: The rightful ruler of the land, father of Princess Harmony and future father-in-law of Prince Robin.
- Princess Harmony: Daughter of Old King Cole and love interest of Prince Robin.
- Prince Robin: Love interest of Princess Harmony and future son-in-law of Old King Cole.
- Crooked Knights: Servants of Count Walktwist.
- Brutus: An evil, living candlestick who serves Count Walktwist. Jack Horner jumps over him.
- Town Crier:
- Zig Zag: Count Walktwist's partner. Once a regular tall man, now turned into short man who has trouble with words, but gets turned back into his regular self in the end.
- Goosey Gander: Count Walktwist's pet gander who tries to capture the heroes, but is stopped by Jack, Tom and Jerry when he snatches Mary's lamb. Later, he takes the Crooked Man up into the air to fight Mother Goose, but when Mother Goose lassos him, her pet goose makes him drop the count into the ocean, killing him and all of his black magic.
- Little Jack Horner: One of the heroes of the movie. He sides with Mary, her lamb, Tom, Jerry, Patricia, and Humpty Dumpty. He and Mary don't get along at first, but then become good friends.
- Mary, Mary Quite Contrary: One of the heroes of the movie and a gardener. She sides with her lamb, Jack Horner, Tom, Jerry, Patricia, and Humpty Dumpty. She and Jack don't get along at first, but then become good friends
- Mary's Little Lamb: The pet of Mary, Mary Quite Contrary. He meets Jack and Mary in a mulberry bush
- Peter-Peter Pumpkin-Eater: A man who raises pumpkins and has been turned into a Crooked Knight by the Crooked Man. He and his wife get reunited in the end.
- Patricia Pumpkin-Eater: Peter Pumpkin-Eater's wife who teams up with Tom, Jerry, Jack Horner, Mary, her lamb, and Humpty Dumpty.
- Old Mother Hubbard: The old woman who lives in a shoe and finds her cupboard bare when trying to get a bone for her dog. She keeps lots of kids when their parents are captured including Mary.
- Humpty Dumpty: A giant egg in plaid clothes who gets sick of sitting on walls. He teams up with Tom, Jerry, Jack Horner, Patricia, Mary, and her lamb. He gives advice to Jack and later helps save the day. One of the Crooked Knights pushes him off the wall of Walktwist's castle when trying to help everyone escape, causing Humpty to fall and crack. In the end, Mother Goose uses her magic soup to bring him back and give him a parachute that pops out from the top of his shell in case he falls again.
- Georgie Porgie: A sailor who tries to give the heroes a ride across the river for a pudding, pie, or possibly a kiss from Mary.
- Paddy Cake: A cake baker.
- Peter Piper: A fellow who raises pickled peppers.
- Jack Sprat: A skinny man who can't eat fat.
- Jack Sprat's wife: A fat woman who can't eat lean.
- Little Miss Muffet: A girl with arachnophobia who sits on a tuffet eating curds and whey.
- Butcher: A man who rides in a tub with the Baker and the Candlestick Maker. Created by Mother Goose to help the heroes escape the Crooked Knights.
- Baker: A man who rides in a tub with the Butcher and the Candlestick Maker. Created by Mother Goose to help the heroes escape the Crooked Knights.
- Candlestick Maker: A man who rides in a tub with the Butcher and the Baker. Created by Mother Goose to help the heroes escape the Crooked Knights.
- Jack and Jill: A boy and girl who always fall down a hill when fetching a pail of water.
- Simple Simon: A boy who wants to taste the pies of a pieman at the fair.
- The Cat with the Fiddle: An orange version of Tom who is an excellent violinist. Often provoked by the Little Dog about his fiddle playing. In the end, he, the Cow, and the Little Dog have the Dish and the Spoon working with them.
- The Cow who jumps over the moon: Mother Goose's purple cow who is famous for jumping over the moon. The good guys ask her to jump over the moon so Patricia can tell Mother Goose to come home, but the Cow refuses to unless she hears music from the Cat's fiddle. In the end, she, the Cat, and the Little Dog have the Dish and the Spoon working with them.
- The Little Dog: A dog who often makes fun of the Cat's fiddle playing.
- The Dish and the Spoon: A plate and a utensil who for no reason work for Count Walktwist. They are at Patricia's house and don't come alive unless nobody's around; they spy on the heroes asking the Cow to take Patricia over the moon to bring Mother Goose back. The Dish and the Spoon run away to tell Walktwist that the heroes are going to bring Mother Goose home (without even noticing that Tom and Jerry are spying on them). Later, Tom and Jerry successfully catch the Dish and the Spoon and change them from bad to good so they can help stop the Crooked Man. In the end, Old King Cole pardons them both and has them work with the Cat, the Cow, and the Little Dog.

- Dish and Spoon: Please don't terminate us! We'll change! We'll quit serving the Count! We'll side with you and help save the day!
(Tom and Jerry look at them to say, "Promise?")
- Dish and Spoon: Yes! We promise!
(Tom and Jerry finally agree and release them)
- Old King Cole: Yes. You all have done an excellent job.
(He looks down sternly at the Dish and the Spoon)
- And it looks like you two are in serious trouble.
- Dish: Please, Your Majesty, we meant no harm. We were only doing what we were told.
- Spoon: And besides, the cat and the mouse did help us find some good in us. So we turned against the Count.
- Old King Cole (amused): Well then, I suppose a pardon can be arranged for the both of you. And maybe, just maybe, you can work with someone else.
- Dish: Of course, name it and it's yours.
- Old King Cole: I think I know who.
(The Dish and the Spoon are with the Cow, the Little Dog, and the Cat with the fiddle)
- Little Dog: Look at it this way, at least we're all one big happy family.
- Cow: Or better yet, we make a pretty good team.
- Dish: Yes, but don't we need a name for our team?
- Cat with fiddle: You're right. We'll have to think of one.
- Spoon: Now, what would be a good name for a gang of animals and housewares?
(They all start thinking to themselves)

- This film is to be dedicated in memory of the late Margaret Rutherford who voiced Mother Goose in original version.
- G-rated for Very mild fantasy violence, threat, scary scenes, comedy, very mild peril.
- In the original version, the fate of the Dish and the Spoon is unknown, (although when the Crooked Man died, they might have turned back into inanimate objects) but in this version, Tom and Jerry redeem them, they help save the day, and end up with the Cat, the Cow, and the Little Dog.
