Tom and Jerry Meet Beauty and the Beast is a Warner Bros Movie based on a story by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot DE Villeneuve. From the people who Brought you Beauty and the Beast (1991), Tom and Jerry Meet Sherlock Holmes (2010), Tom and Jerry: Back to Oz (2016) and Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (2017).

Plot[]

In France, an enchantress, disguised as an old beggar, offers an enchanted rose to a young prince in exchange for shelter in his castle from the bitter cold, but he refuses. For his arrogance, the enchantress transforms him into a beast and inflicts a spell on the castle. She gives him a magic mirror that enables him to view faraway events, along with the rose. To break the spell, the prince must learn to love another and earn her love in return before the rose's last petal falls on his 21st birthday. If he fails, he will remain a beast forever.

Ten years later, a young bookworm girl named Belle and her friend, Jerry the cute young mouse with a white-diaper are bored of the village life and seeks excitement. Because of her nonconformist ideals, she is ridiculed by everyone except her father and Jerry's good friend Maurice (an inventor), the town bookseller, and a vain muscular hunter named Gaston and his pet bad adult cat named Tom. Despite being popular with the townsfolk, Gaston is determined to marry Belle but she repeatedly rejects his advances. Jerry was very Angry at Gaston, LeFou and Tom.

Maurice and his horse Phillipe get lost in the forest while traveling to a fair to present his newest invention, a wood-chopping machine. When Phillipe abandons Maurice, he comes across the Beast's castle. Inside, he meets Lumière the candlestick, Cogsworth the clock, Mrs. Potts the teapot, and her son Chip the teacup. They offer him their service; however, the Beast discovers and imprisons Maurice. Jerry's helpful friend Belle takes him to change his diaper on the changing table. She touches and removes Jerry's dirty diaper and puts it in the bin. Then belle put a clean white-diaper on Jerry and he felt much better and comfortable with his fresh​ diaper on. After Phillipe leads Belle and Jerry to the Beast's castle, she offers to take her father's place. Over her father's objection, the Beast accepts Belle and Jerry's offer. While Gaston and Tom sulks over Belle and Jerry's rejection, Maurice returns to town but is unable to convince the others to rescue Belle and Jerry.

The Beast sulks in his room when Belle and Jerry refuses to have dinner with him that night. Despite this, Lumière offers her a meal. While he and Cogsworth also give her a tour of the castle, she wanders into the forbidden West Wing. When the Beast frightens her out into the forest, Belle and Jerry encounters a pack of wolves. The Beast rescues Belle and Jerry but he gets injured in the process. He begins to develop feelings for them while belle nurses his wounds and he delights her by showing his extensive library. While the two bond in the Beast's castle, Gaston and Tom pays Monsieur D'Arque, the owner of the town's asylum to have Maurice commited if Belle and Jerry refuses Gaston's proposal again.

Sharing a romantic evening dance together. Belle and Jerry tells the Beast she misses her father and his good friend. He lets them use his magic mirror to see him. She and Jerry sees Maurice sick in the woods trying to reach the castle. The Beast lets them go out to save him and he gives Belle the mirror to remember him by and she talking Jerry. Chip stows away; Belle and Jerry finds Maurice and brings him home. As Gaston is about to forcibly bring Maurice to the asylum, Belle and Jerry proves Maurice's sanity by showing the Beast with the magic mirror. Realizing that Belle loves the Beast, Gaston convinces the villagers that the Beast is a man-eating monster and leads them to the castle to kill him but Jerry trying to stop Gaston to kill the beast.

With Chip's aid, Maurice, Belle and Jerry escape from confinement. While the villagers are fended off by the servants Suddenly the objects seen Gaston was at the castle. Gaston and Tom fights the Beast. The Beast initially is too depressed to fight back, but perks up after seeing Belle and Jerry return to the castle. He corners Gaston and Tom, but spares his life and orders them to leave. However, when the Beast reunites with Belle and Jerry, Gaston and Tom fatally stabs him, but then loses their footing and falls to their death. Belle and Jerry professes her love for the Beast, who dies before the last rose petal falls. Poor Jerry begins to cry. With the spell broken, the Beast reverts to his true form alive. The servants resume their human forms and the castle is restored to its former glory. Belle and the now a human prince have a Ball in celebration of the event while Jerry falls in love with his beautiful young female mouse named Cherie.

  • Tom Cat: A greedy adult greyish blue cat. In this movie, he is Gaston's pet cat along together with Lefou at the Town.
  • Jerry Mouse: A cute young brown mouse with a white-diaper. In this movie, he is Belle's friendly mouse along together with the Beast, Maurice, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Fifi, Mrs. Potts and Chip at the Castle.
  • Cherie Mouse: A beautiful young light-brown mouse with a blue bow around her neck and she is Jerry's girlfriend. In this movie, she dances with her boyfriend Jerry at the end of the film.
  • Belle, a young benevolent bibliophile woman who develops feelings for the Beast and begins to see the humanity within him and Jerry's friend.
  • Beast: A cold-hearted prince who is transformed into a beast and forced to earn back his humanity by learning to truly love and be loved in return. He is a good friend of Jerry.
  • Gaston: A former war captain and hunter who is willing to go far as taking Belle as his wife, he is Tom's Owner.
  • Maurice: Belle's widowed father and a good friend of Jerry, inventor, artist, and toymaker.
  • LeFou: Gaston and Tom's flamboyant sidekick.
  • Lumiere: The Prince's charismatic footman who was turned into a candelabra.
  • Cogsworth: The Prince's gruff, but loyal, majordomo who was transformed into a mantel clock.
  • Fifi: Lumiere's girlfriend who has been transformed into a featherduster
  • Mrs. Potts: The castle nanny who has been transformed into a teapot.
  • Chip: Mrs. Potts' son who was changed into a teacup
