My Little Pony: Equestria Girls - The Series is a children's animated television series produced by Hasbro Studios and DHX Media Vancouver and a spin off of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. The series is based in the human world of Equestria which focuses on the main characters of the series normally ponies, as teenage girls in a High School setting. The series will premiere on July 15, 2017 on the Discovery Family cable channel.

- Tara Strong as both forms and versions of Twilight Sparkle, the princess of Equestria and her human counterpart is a former student of Crystal Prep Academy but now a current student at Canterlot High.
- Ashleigh Ball as: Rainbow Dash, a tomboyish and competitive Pegasus pony. Her human counterpart is the Rainbooms' band guitarist and soccer player. Ashleigh also voices Applejack, a hard-working farm pony. Her human counterpart is the Rainbooms' bassist and apple cider celler.
- Andrea Libman as: Pinkie Pie, a fun-loving pony who loves throwing parties. Her human counterpart acts as head of the school formal planning committee and serves as the Rainbooms drummer. Andrea also voices Fluttershy, a timid Pegasus with an affinity for animals. The human Fluttershy appears as an animal shelter volunteer. She also plays the Tambourine in the Rainbooms band. She also has a secret crush on Martin Valentine.
- Tabitha St. Germain as: Rarity, a fashionable unicorn friend of Twilight. Her human counterpart, like her pony self, is a fashion designer and the Rainbooms' keytarist.
- Tabitha also voices Princess Luna, an alicorn who is Celestia's younger sister and co-ruler of Equestria. Her human counterpart is the vice-principal of Canterlot High School and Granny Smith an elderly earth pony who is Applejack and Apple Boom's grandmother. Her human version is the lunchlady of Canterlot High Cafeteria.

- Nicole Oliver as Princess Celestia, the alicorn ruler of Equestria. Her human counterpart is the principal of Canterlot High School.
